Everything is printed to order, so there are two stages to every order. Here's exactly how long each one takes and what happens if something isn't right.
Working days, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.
Delivery time depends on which carrier covers your address. Most UK orders go Royal Mail Tracked; some areas are covered by a courier instead. Either way you get a tracking number by email as soon as your parcel leaves the printer.
Orders placed on a Friday afternoon or over the weekend start their transit time on the next working day.
Tracked as standard on every order.
| Destination | Service | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| United Kingdom | Tracked | £3.95 |
| United Kingdom, orders over £60 | Tracked | Free |
| Ireland & Europe | Tracked | £7.95 |
European orders take longer at the delivery stage — usually 5–9 working days in total. Any customs or import charges are set by the destination country and are the recipient's responsibility.
14 days from the day your order is delivered.
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery for a refund or an exchange, provided the item comes back to us properly. That means:
Email support@alwayslife.co.uk with your order number and we'll send you return instructions. Don't send anything back before you've heard from us — we need to log it against your order first.
Once your return arrives and we've checked it, refunds go back to the original payment method within 5 working days. Exchanges are printed and dispatched on the same 2–3 day transit as a new order.
We're building a self-service portal so you can start a return, print a label and track it without emailing anyone. Until it's live, email is the way — it's a person reading it, and we answer quickly.
That's on us. Send a photo to support@alwayslife.co.uk and we'll print a replacement straight away. You don't need to return the original and you won't pay postage.
Return postage on a change-of-mind return is paid by you unless the item is faulty. We recommend a tracked service — until it reaches us, it's still your parcel. This policy sits alongside your statutory rights under UK consumer law, which it doesn't affect.
